At the young age of 19, I owned my first salon and was determined to pave my own career path. I was always committed to giving my clients the best, but I longed for fresh inspiration. And then, one day, a simple request from a client changed everything.
My client showed me a screenshot from Pinterest, and I knew immediately what had captured her curiosity. Together, we recreated the photo, using just two trash bags and a pillow. Little did we know that this would be the beginning of my next exciting business idea.
I sold my thriving full concept, Aveda salon, and signed a no compete clause with the contingency to not practice hair in Lancaster county for three years. It took a high level of belief system, but I knew that I had to take this risk to pursue my dream.
I am a self-made woman who has done this all on my own. I believed in my product and knew that it had the potential to change the hair industry. And so, I took the risk and sold my salon to invest in this new business opportunity.
