Emma is the owner of STITCH Salon in the Kansas City, KS and has been working her way through the hair industry for the past 12 years. In 2020, she opened her own business focusing on her niche: hair extensions. But beyond working behind the chair she has also mentored younger artists teaching technique, branding and business. Emma says, "I’m all about efficiency and working smarter, not harder and that’s why tools that truly solve problems matter to me.”
As any extension stylist knows, hair services sometimes get messy. From pre-coloring weft extensions to lining up your K-Tips, a clean, efficient workspace is a must. Emma, who specializes in innovative and strategic color techniques and technical sew-in installs, was on the lookout for something to take her work to the next level when she found Color Canvas Systems.
It all started with the Hue-Mongous System as a birthday gift to herself. With enough space to go from customizing extensions before an install to working on her computer between clients, her formerly crowded suite was transformed into an efficient hair studio. She has since expanded into using the Hue-Little Thing System's board as well, utilizing its smaller size for holding foils, mixing product, and even as a side table for clients during long hair color and hair extensions services.
As part of her commitment to empowering stylists and giving clients a best-in-class experience she pours anything she can back into her clients and other stylists.
