Terms of Purchase & Intellectual Property Agreement


  1. Ownership of Intellectual Property
The Color Canvas Systems® (CCS) styling board, including its design, engineering, and functional elements, is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws (U.S. Utility Patents Nos. 11224279, 11771195, 12426694; U.S. Design Patent No. D975923). All rights are owned exclusively by Color Canvas Systems®.

  1. Limited License
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the physical CCS product for personal or professional use. You do not acquire ownership of any patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.

  1. Restrictions
You agree not to:
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or copy the product’s design or technology.
  • Use the CCS product to develop, manufacture, or sell any competing product.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the product’s design or technology without express written permission from Color Canvas Systems®.


  1. Conflict of Interest & Third-Party Infringement
4.1. You affirm that you are not employed by, contracted with, or affiliated with any entity engaged in infringing Color Canvas Systems’ intellectual property rights.4.2. If you are affiliated with such an entity, you must disclose this relationship in writing prior to purchase.4.3. Any use of the CCS product for the benefit of a third party engaged in competitive or infringing activities is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of this license and legal action.

  1. Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Omaha, Nebraska.

  1. Acknowledgment
By completing your purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
