HOW CCS WORKS
WE'RE CHANGING HOW YOU WORK
For hairstylist, by a hairstylist.
1. PREP
Begin by sectioning the hair. We recommend using U-shaped sections for their seamless fluidity across the entire head.
*Twist your canvas to reach areas behind the left and right ear.
2. POSITION
Adjust the height of your canvas by turning the knob on the stem of your hydraulic chair. The crest of your canvas (the U shape of your board) should be positioned at a 45-degree angle when you start, just below your guest's nape. The bottom of the canvas should align with hip level for your comfort.
3. PREPARE TO BE AMAZED...AND COLOR
Here's a brief overview: Regardless of the coloring method you choose, such as balayage, highlights, or foiling, begin at a 45-degree angle and gradually adjust the pitch of your canvas as you work up the hair. Maintain a mildly tight tension on the canvas (adjustable with the knob beneath the canvas). When you reach the crown, your pitch should be at maximum capacity. Utilize the canvas at its full capacity until you reach the Mohawk area for foiling. To personalize areas around the face, lower the canvas to a tabletop position to hover over your client's shoulders. Place all foils on top of the canvas and work comfortably in front of your guest without leaning.
